Summary:
All over Europe ERTMS is now being planned and deployed. An overview will be given of strategies and their present status, from the perspective of the 11 members of the ERTMS Users Group, as well as related activities on future developments.

Bio:
Ernst Kleine is program manager/ lead engineer with the ERTMS Users Group in Brussels since 2013, acting at European level on ERTMS specification evolution, deployment of ERTMS at Rail Freight Corridors as well as best practice ERTMS engineering, testing and validation. He has been involved in the Railway business since 2005, through various consulting and contracting activities. With a background in Electrical Engineering, Advanced Process Control at Technical University Delft, The Netherlands.
