Resilient Timetabling

Possible topics for resilient timetabling are:

  • Resilient planning
  • Planned disruptions (events, maintenance)
  • Unplanned disruptions (failures) and adverse weather conditions
  • Travel choice during disruptions
  • Data analytics

Energy Saving in Rail

Possible topics for energy saving in rail are:

  • Energy savings in vehicles
  • Infrastructure adjustments (train detection, transition to 3kV in NL, regenerative braking)
  • Sustainability (green wave, energy-efficient driving)
