Registration for Intelligent Rail Summit 2018 now open
The registration for the Intelligent Rail Summit 2018 is now open. The event will take place on 27-29 November in Malmö, Sweden. The themes of the summit are Infrastructure Mononitoring and WTMS, and Railway Infrastructure Asset Management.
The programme starts with a technical visit on the 27th of November to the Trafikverket Academy/training center in Ängelholm and the Railway Museum. The visit is included in the registration fee.
The programme is filled with expert speakers, like Dr. Diego Galar. He is professor of Condition Monitoring at Luleå University of Technology (LTU). He will share his knowledge concerning the use of big data and Internet of Things in the railway industry.
Themes
On the 28th of November, Infrastructure Monitoring and WTMS will be covered. Big data and innovative data analyses are just some of the subjects that will be examined. The next day is about Railway Infrastructure Asset Management. This includes data management and turning data into crucial information for evaluating the asset condition.
