Head of Track Analytics at Plasser & Theurer

Presentation title:
Digital insight into assets through maintenance

Abstract:
Technologies from the digital revolution are evolving rapidly. Performance and reliability of modern sensor systems is constantly increasing, which makes the development of new applications possible.
This advancement enabled Plasser & Theurer to build The Assistant System, a semi autonomous tamping machine.
While working more efficiently and reducing the chances for errors on site, the machine generates data. This data gives us an unprecedented insight into the performance of railway assets.
