Protecting railway systems against cyber attacks
Summary:
The growing risk of cyber attacks is an important driver for infrastructure managers in the railway business to review existing system architectures in order to improve technical systems and to guarantee safe train services despite challenging conditions. Especially new services like automatic train operation (ATO) will have an huge impact on the way how train operation is done and which skills are needed therefore.
